2+6=17 Linking WASH and Nutrition

In dialogue with WASH

Since 2015 we participate regularly in exchange of information with the members and allied organisations of the German WASH Network and take part in their group wide events and training sessions.

As part of a conducted study “2+6=17 Linking WASH and Nutrition” we participated in meaningful discussions with its coordinators, on a shared vision of a closer collaboration among the network partners in the future project tenders as well as, inviting experts from various NGOs. Contrary to the current practice, where the majority of NGOs try to cover just about every area of expertise in attempt to secure their own funding (stretching of one’s capacity among additional divisions). There are various visible advantages in implementation of the proposed Matrix organisational structure within the project process: more expertise, less interfaces, more transparency resulting in easier financial viability.
